Minus the chocolate chips, this dough works for just about any kind of drop cookie, with a variety of flavors and add-ins. Variations on this dough include the Trash Can Cookies, the Triple Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies, and the Maple Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. For slice-and-bake cookies, roll any of the drop doughs—except the Trash Can Cookie, as the pretzels soften too much upon freezing—into a log, wrap them in plastic wrap, and freeze until you’re ready to bake.
