  • 90 g/ oz/¾ cup plain (all-purpose) flour, plus extra for dusting

Method

  1. Sift together the flour, cornflour, cocoa powder and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. In a separate large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy using an electric hand mixer, then beat in the egg yolks. Add the sifted flour mixture approximately one-third at a time and mix well to form a dough. Wrap in cling film (plastic wrap) and refrigerate
