Palestinian Bakewell tart

This is our take on the Bakewell tart. Kids love these, adults love these, Mr Kipling himself would have loved these, we’re sure! You’ll make more jam than you need here but it’s lovely to have around to spread on toast. Drizzled with tahini it’s the Palestinian equivalent of peanut butter and jam.

Getting ahead: The jam can be made up to a month ahead.

Keeping notes: Once baked, these keep well in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
