In the summer, street vendors sell glasses of this in the old centre of Cyprus and I am not sure that there is anything else quite so refreshing. The salt really brings out the flavours. It may be an acquired taste, but I love it every now and then on a really hot day. You could also serve something like this as a cold summer soup, perhaps adding some diced cucumber.
