I got into mushrooms in 1982 through the wife of a friend, who, in turn, got me interested in fly-fishing. To this day, my fishing vest often comes home full of mushrooms. At first I was only interested in learning about edibles, but then I joined the Mycological Society of San Francisco and began learning mycology. In 2013 I started the Cooking with Wild Mushrooms Facebook page for people who make interesting mushroom dishes. This recipe is from that page. I created it after I began wonder
