  • 2 Dozen eggs
  • 3 pints spiced vinegar


Hard boil the eggs for 12 minutes. Remove from the heat and place under running water to cool quickly. Shell the eggs, place in wide-necked jars; strain the spiced vinegar over them. Seal and leave for at least 2 weeks before eating.
