Method

Sieve together the flour, salt and baking powder. Rub in the butter. Add enough milk to give a soft dough. Divide mixture into two and form into rounds about 1 inch thick and place on a greased baking tray. Bake in a hot oven 425°F., Gas Mark 7, for about 25 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when li
