A coussinet is a round, soft cushion that you use to sit on the floor. I like the name, and the shape of this dessert is very similar.

Ingredients

  • 1,3 kg ripe, perfect strawberries
  • 5 eggs, yolks and whites separated
  • 75 g

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Paint an oven baking tray with oil, then line it with wax paper. Cut the paper to fit the tray exactly. Brush melted butter on top of the wax paper. Keep aside.
