Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups

Method

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the flour, stirring with a wire whisk.
  2. Add the broth, stirring rapidly with the whisk until the mixture is thickened and smooth. Continue cooking over low heat, stirring frequently, about 45 minutes.
