  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • 3 teaspoons

Method

  1. Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat it gradually to lukewarm. Remove from the heat. If milk has become too hot, let it cool to lukewarm.
  2. Sprinkle the milk with sugar and yeast and stir to dissolve. Cover with a towel. Let stand about 5 minutes and place the mixture in a warm place (the natural warmth of a turned-off oven is good for this) about 5 minutes. It sh
