  • 4 lemons
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 cups (2

Method

  1. Trim off and discard the ends of one of the lemons. Cut the lemon into thin slices. Remove the seeds from the slices and cut the slices in half to resemble half-moons.
  2. Squeeze the remaining 3 lemons and combine the juice with the sugar in a mixing bowl. Add the lemon slices and refrigerate 2 hours or, preferably, overnight. Stir until all the sugar is dissolved.</
