2 cups 4 cups - Grated rind of

Method
- Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Add the rind and lemon juice and cool. Chill thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into the container of an electric or hand-cranked ice cream freezer and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Serve, if desired, with cold vodka poured over.
