  • ½ cup mixed candied fruit
  • ¼ cup kirsch
  • ½ cup

Method

  1. Combine the candied fruit and kirsch in a small mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. Place the raisins in another small bowl and add boiling water to cover. Let stand 5 minutes, then drain.
  3. Generously butter one side of the bread and set aside.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees<
