I devised this variation on the classic coeur a la creme, adding chocolate infused with the gentle smoky heat of chipotle chilli as a tribute to the spiciness of the movie Chocolat. You need to have small porcelain heart-shaped moulds to make this dessert – the small holes in the moulds allow the excess moisture to drip out during setting. Raspberries, baked quince or spiced cherries can be used instead of the strawberries if you wish.
