The Mexicans are very fond of caramel and it is a prominent feature in many of their desserts. Churros are popular Spanish deep-fried pastries, like doughnut sticks, that are usually served for breakfast. I love them in desserts as much as I do first thing in the morning, and they are great when dunked into the vanilla cream – a seriously yummy combination.
