Move over spinach omelette, here comes a healthier omelette stuffed with Pegagan (Centella asiatica) leaves! Use duck egg instead of chicken egg to add more savory flavor.


  • 50 gr Gotu Kola leaf, sliced
  • 1 stalk spring onion, sliced
  • 30 gr shallot, thinly sliced
  • 5 gr cayenne pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 3 pcs duck eggs (can be replaced with chicken eggs)
  • 3 gr salt (about ½ teaspoon)
  • 1 gr ground pepper (about ½ teaspoon)
  • 50 ml cooking oil



  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add Gotu Kola leaf, spring onion, shallot, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Prepare medium non-stick pan, heat cooking oil with medium heat. Pour the egg mix onto the pan. Wait until cooked and serve.
