Most households have a pot of fruity jam on the go for breakfast. As tasty as jam is, it’s more often than not packed full of refined sugar which helps set the jam but doesn't provide nutritional goodness. This homemade jam recipe is the total opposite. I’m using chia seeds as an alternative to sugar. They absorb several times their size in liquid, creating a jelly-like texture that will set like jam.
