Home-made cheese biscuits could not be simpler, and your guests will be very impressed that you have baked them yourself. Using the same proportions, you can make up a much larger batch of mixture and freeze several cylinders of dough for use when needed.

Method

Rub the butter and flour together, stir in the cheese, saffron and its water and seeds, adding a little water if necessary to bind the ingredients to a firm dough. Roll out the pastry and stamp out 5 cm/
