Milk chocolate lavender teacakes

Baking and nostalgia, the two seem to go together. I often find myself making the cakes and biscuits I remember from childhood, or the pastries and pies I have baked with friends and family in their kitchens over the years. I saw a mould for chocolate teacakes in the Lakeland catalogue, together with a recipe, and realised I was not the only one experiencing nostalgia for baked treats past, and had to try my hand at them.
