For a bake-ahead dessert to serve after the Christmas turkey, or for a Boxing Day buffet, I have developed this recipe for a large mince tart with rich orange flower and marzipan flavours. Less fiddly than individual mince pies, this makes a very attractive tray bake. Make it in a Swiss roll tin and top with a lattice of pastry if you wish. The layer of marzipan under the mincemeat makes this an even richer than usual mince tart.
