  • 450 g/1 lb/4 cups self-raising flour

Method

Put the flour in a bowl. Make a hollow and in it put the sugar, seasoning, spices and eggs, then mix thoroughly. Add the remaining ingredients. Knead thoroughly, shape into a loaf and place on a greased baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C/325°F/gas mark 3 for about 75 minutes
