I crave a little toast in the morning, and even more than that, I crave a little sweet. A toasted slice of this bread satisfies me on both counts. The dough, lightly sweetened with honey, is soft and sticky, allowing you to knead in lots and lots of golden raisins and toasted pecans. It gives off the most wonderful aroma as it bakes, and it is pretty hard to resist fresh out of the oven.
