Ingredients

  • 4 shallots, finely chopped
  • 7 fl oz (200 ml) red wine

Method

Heat the shallots with the red wine and allow the wine to boil away. Leave to cool. Now add the butter, salt and pepper and finally whisk in the lemon juice.
