  • 4 mackerel, cleaned
  • 1 lemon, squeezed
  • Salt
  • 4 tablespoons

Method

Slash the mackerel on each side with a sharp knife and sprinkle the inside and outside with some of the lemon juice and salt. Stuff the herbs and some of the garlic into the fish.

Mix the remaining garlic, lemon juice and oil together. Grill the fish for at least 5 minutes on each side until tender, basting with the oil and lemon mixture. Serve with a slice of lemon.
