Chicken Kebabs with Oregano


  • 4 chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  • 1 slice thick ham, cut into cubes
  • 1 red pepper, cut into cubes

For the Marinade

  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper


Mix the marinade ingredients together, add the chicken and ham and leave for at least 1 hour.

Thread the chicken, ham and red pepper onto skewers and grill for about 8 minutes, basting from time to time with the marinade. Serve with a piquant sauce of your choice (see sauce section) and saffron rice.
