Ingredients

  • 1 red pepper, cut in quarters lengthways
  • 1 green pepper, cut in quarters lengthways
  • 2 aubergines, cut lengthways in slices ¾

Method

Paint the vegetables liberally with oil, season with pepper and cook them for about 10 minutes, turning and oiling all the while. Once they are tender to touch they are tender to the tongue, so remove them from the grill, arrange them decoratively on a white serving dish, sprinkle with salt and a final splash of olive oil and eat.
