Ingredients

  • 3 lb (1.5 kg) pumpkin flesh, cut in chunks
  • 5 or 6 medium potatoes, peele

Method

Boil the pumpkin and potatoes in pints (1.1 litres) water for 45 minutes. Purée the mixture, add salt and pepper to taste and stir in the cream thoroughly. Serve hot with plenty of croutons rubb
