  • 12 anchovies Milk
  • 2 oz (50 g) seasoned flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 oz (50 g) white breadcrumbs Butter and oil for frying


Wash and dry the fish thoroughly; dip them in milk and then in seasoned flour. Next coat them in beaten egg, then in breadcrumbs. Fry until crisp and golden brown. Serve at once.
