Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 oz (25 g) butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 oz (125 g) fresh white breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chopped sage

Method

Put the onions in a pan and cover with cold water. Bring to the boil and cook for about 10 minutes. Drain and mix with the other ingredients.
