Ingredients

  • 2 oz (50 g) lean cooked ham, finely minced
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • ½ tablespoon French mustard
  • ½ oz (15 g) butter
  • 4 × 2 in. (5 cm) circles hot well-buttered toast
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

Method

Thoroughly mix the ham with the Worcestershire sauce, cayenne and mustard. Melt the butter in a small sauce pan and stir the mixture into it until it is very hot. Pile on to the circles of toast, sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
