The meatballs are cooked twice—first to brown them all over and then they are simmered in the curry sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb/450 g lean ground beef
  • 2 onions, peeled and finely chopped

Method

Put the beef, half each of the onions, garlic, and spices into a large bowl and add salt to taste, then mix together. Bind the mixture with the beaten egg.

Using your hands, form small meatballs from the beef mixture.

Heat about 1-2 inches/2.5-5
