The sesame and peanut oils add a lovely flavor to this dish while the turmeric provides color.

Put the onion, garlic, ginger, shallots, and vinegar into a food processor and whiz together. Transfer to a bowl and mix in the pork. Let marinate in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
