This is a salty and sour spice mix and is sprinkled over cooked or raw dishes to add flavour. Use it like salt and pepper.


  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 5


Lightly toast all the ingredients except the salts in a dry pan. Add the salts and grind all the spices while they are still warm in a coffee grinder or food processor. Store in an airtight container.
