This curry can be made with fish fillets instead of lobster or crayfish, if you prefer - use a couple of thick fillets of the fish of your choice, skinned and boned.


  • vegetable or coconut oil
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 or 3 fresh green chillies, chopped


  1. Grind together the masala ingredients with a little water to make a smooth paste.
  2. Heat some oil and sauté the onion until transparent, then add the green chillies. Stir in the masala paste and cook until no longer powdery.
