Almond Cream Soup

In southern Spain almonds grow as prolifically as Brussels sprouts do in Bradford. It has always been my fond hope that people would take my cookery books on holiday with them so that they can enjoy the dishes where the ingredients are native, fresh, and readily available. Do take the trouble to search for really fresh almonds. It will be well worthwhile.
