I can remember walking into the kitchen after school and the sweet aroma of these dumplings cooking stirring my taste-buds.

Ingredients

  • 450g/1lb shortcrust pastry
  • 4 even-sized cooking apples, peeled and cored

Method

Divide the pastry into 4 equal pieces and roll each into a 20-25 cm/8—10in rotlnd.

Place one apple on
