Heat most of the oil in a frying pan and gently sauté the onion, garlic and pepper until softened and cooked — about 10-12 minutes altogether.

Meanwhile, pop the tuna steaks on to a grill pan and brush them with the remaining oil. Add a little salt, then grill them for about 10 minutes, until cooked, turning them once.

Quickly add the fresh tomato sauce and fish stock to the pep
