  • 225g (8oz) macaroni
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil


Cook the macaroni in lots of lightly salted boiling water, for about 8 minutes until it is tender, then drain well.

While the macaroni is cooking, heat the oil in a frying pan and saute together the onion, pepper and garlic until softened, about 10 minutes, then stir in the tomatoes. Add the ham and sausage and heat through, giving it a good stir. Season with some black pepper. Taste it
