Prepare batches of the crumb mixture and freeze in plastic bags. When needed, sprinkle frozen topping over the fruit and bake.
For machines with nested bowls.
For topping: Process topping ingredients on the steel blade for 8 to 10 seconds, until crumbly. Empty bowl.
For filling: Insert slicer. Slice apples, using medium pressure. Empty into sprayed deep 9-inch glass pie plate or 10-inch ceramic quiche dish. Combine with remaining filling ingredients and mix well.<
