This strudel-type cookie is traditionally made with an oil dough, but it’s also excellent with Flaky Ginger Ale Pastry or Cream Cheese Pastry.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Prepare dough and divide into 3 pieces. Flour dough lightly. Working with 1 piece at a time, roll out on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about ⅛ inch thick.

Spread a thin layer of jam on dough (about ½ cup) to within 1 inch of edges. Sp
