Rhubarb roots and leaves are poisonous, so be sure to trim the stalks carefully and wash them well.

Ingredients

Standard Butter Pastry or any pastry for a 2-crust pie
2 Tbsp bread crumbs

Method

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Prepare pastry and chill as directed. Roll out 1 portion into a large circle and transfer to ungreased 9-inch pie plate. Trim off overhanging edges. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.

Slicer: Cut rhubarb to fit feed tube. Slice, using firm pressur
