For the fruits

  • 2 large quinces (about pounds), with tough part near the stem end removed, cored, and cut in eighths or
  • 8 small crabapples,


Combine all the ingredients for the marinade and prepare as for Verduras en Vinagre. Add the fruit to the hot marinade and let cool to room temperature. Store as for Verduras en Vinagre.
