These irresistible candies certainly justify their Spanish name, which means something like “luscious morsels,” Needless to say, the cinnamon used in this recipe is the same true cinnamon (canela) called for throughout the book, not the harsher-tasting cassia sold as cinnamon in U.S. markets.
