Kiki’s or Lazy Woman’s Pie

In contrast to the Crustless Zucchini Pie, this contains hardly any filling. Mrs. Kiki, who owns the restaurant on the central square of Monodendri—one of the very picturesque villages that make up Zagoria in Epirus—made this pie famous. Visitors always stop at her place and savor her excellent pie, the recipe for which she stubbornly refuses to give out.
