I tried this delicious dessert in Chania, Crete, in the spectacular dining room of the Doma Hotel. The owner, Ioanna Koutsoudaki, told me that she got the idea from an old recipe, probably one that originated in Turkey.
Mix the spoon sweet with the ginger, allspice, and nutmeg and stir well.
Spoon about 1 cup yogurt into each serving bowl, top with 2 or 3 tablespoons of the quince mixture, and sprinkle with almonds
