These chocolate treats, named after Brigadier Eduardo Gomes of the Brazilian Air Force, are an absolute must for any child’s party in Brazil, but are equally popular with the grown-ups. This simple recipe is a fun one to make as a group activity.
1 Heat the condensed milk, butter and chocolate powder in a pan over a medium heat.
2 Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly, until it reaches a very dense and fudgy consistency. You should be able to see the bottom of the pan when you scrape it with your spoon.
