This fish has got me into so much trouble. It is one of the classic examples of a fish that is known by a number of names depending on where you live (and doesn’t everyone think they’re right). Now, its correct name is blue eye trevalla (no relation to trevallies), but in most Australian states it has been known for some time as deep sea trevalla.
