This is a classic English dessert. Like bread and butter pudding, it is another great dessert that uses bread, this time to corral a mixture of summer berries. It is usually made as one large pudding, but can be made in individual moulds as well. The key to this dessert is to cook the berries with the sugar just long enough to release most of their juices; it is these juices that soak into the bread and help hold it together.
