These are little baked custard tarts, flavoured with prunes and alcohol. Be careful to not overcook the custard and don’t have the heat too high or the custard will have little bubbles through it and be tougher than it should be. Like all these tart recipes, you can use any dried or fresh fruit you like, just start experimenting. I reckon cherries in season with some Kirsch would be pretty smart.
