Serve these as an alternative to Brandade Tartlets - or serve both when having a party — or serve them as a dish in their own right. The lamb meat sauce is that used in a classic moussaka, a Greek shepherd’s pie, enlivened with aubergines and topped with a cheese bechamel. In this case, the mixture is the same but miniaturized - it can, of course, be used in as large a moussaka as you like.
